With ten EuroVelo routes, Germany is THE country for cycling tours in Europe. More than 320 bicycle routes lead cyclists through the country's varied landscapes. Whether you cycle along the coast or one of the numerous rivers, through impressive mountainous landscapes or historical and modern cities, you will certainly find a ride that suits your tastes. Culinary enjoyments, cultural monuments and sights of untouched nature along the routes complete the bicycle travel experience in Germany.

National EuroVelo Coordination Centre

De ADFC is een landelijke non-profitorganisatie met meer dan 230.000 fiets-enthousiaste leden, die zich gezamenlijk ten doel stelt de wegen veiliger te maken voor fietsers en voetgangers. Naast het stimuleren van milieuvriendelijke en dus duurzame vormen van vervoer, adviseert de ADFC over alle aspecten van het fietsen. Dit omvat advies over de aankoop van een fiets, technologie en fietsaccessoires, toeristische en politieke kwesties.

WIEDer ins Tal - Autovrije fietsbelevingsdag

Op zondag 26 mei 2024 is het motto eindelijk: Autovrij door het Wiedtal. Van 10 tot 17 uur is 50 kilometer van het Wiedtal van Niederbreitbach tot Seifen in het Westerwald alleen toegankelijk voor fietsers, inline-skaters en voetgangers. Er zal live muziek zijn, kinderanimatie, servicestations en nog veel meer op talrijke punten langs de route. Natuurlijk wordt er ook voor eten en drinken gezorgd. 1. Raderlebnistag Niederrhein

Voor het eerst vindt op 7 juli 2024 de “1. Raderlebnistag Niederrhein” tussen Rijn en Maas plaats aan de Niederrhein en buurland Nederland. Op de eerste zondag van juli nemen ongeveer 30.000 fietsers deel aan dit gratis evenement voor het hele gezin. De regio kan per pedalen worden verkend op meer dan 80 rondwandelingen van verschillende lengtes. Alle informatie en GPX-routes zijn vanaf medio mei 2024 beschikbaar op www.niederrhein-tourismus.de. From its source to its mouth in the North Sea, the Elbe runs for about 1100 kilometres. Since the cycle path does not always follow the course of the river directly, but makes a detour along the Vltava to Prague in the Czech Republic, the cycle path is somewhat longer at approx. 1270 kilometres. The cycle path is well signposted and runs on asphalt paths and quiet side roads. We have several variants of the Elbe Cycle Route on offer.
