In Germany, the EuroVelo 4 - Central Europe Route lets you discover sections of the Rhine Cycle Route, following this historic river that has acted as a major piece of communications infrastructure in Germany since before the Roman Era! View the rhine as one of the merchants, sailors or soldiers that travelled along it, before linking up with the Main Cycle Route, that follows the river Main, a major tributary of the Rhine. In this second part of the German section of EuroVelo 4 you pass through ancient forests, diverse landscapes, and can discover the beauty of the many German regions.
