Norwegian Scenic Routes
The Norwegian National Cycle Network are 10 national cycle routes connecting most of the country. Many of the routes are already signposted and some of them are part of EuroVelo, the European cycle route network.
Like EuroVelos 1 and 7, EuroVelo 11 - East Europe Route starts at the northernmost tip of continental Europe at the Norwegian North Cape. From the ‘Land of the Midnight Sun’ you travel south along the Porsangerfjorden fjord and from there on through Finnmark county to the Finnish border. Finnmark borders the Lapland region of Finland and Russia's Murmansk Oblast and is an area "where East meets West," in culture as well as in nature and geography.
