Russia

EuroVelo routes in Russia are currently being developed but cycle touring on conventional roads is already possible. EuroVelo 2 - Capitals Route enters Russia from Belarus and continues toward Moscow, where you can visit the world famous Red Square. EuroVelo 10 and EuroVelo 13 go across Vyborg and Saint-Petersburg, following the Baltic Coast. But EuroVelo 10 enters Russia again between Lithuania and Poland, to cross the Kaliningrad Oblast. If you are unsure about visas or accommodation when cycling in Russia, the Russian Cycle Touring Club is available to answer any questions about travelling by bike.

Due to border crossing and travel restrictions in place, we discourage cyclists from entering Russia at the moment. We do not have an official National EuroVelo Coordination Centre or Coordinator in this country at the moment. To assist people wanting to cycle the EuroVelo routes we have collected the information displayed on this page but please be aware that ECF is not responsible for this content.
